Refund Policy

This policy is short because the honest version of it is short.

Evaluate before you buy

The engine runs unlicensed. Every function works, output carries a demonstration mark, and there is no time limit and no registration. That is the evaluation, it is complete, and it is deliberately good enough that buying should never be how you find out whether the SDK does what you need.

If you are unsure which of the seventeen packages fits your build, ask before ordering rather than after. Choosing the wrong package is the single most common reason anyone asks for a refund, and it is entirely avoidable.

The window

We refund an order in full within 14 days of purchase if the SDK does not do what our documentation says it does, or if you were sold a package that cannot cover the platforms you told us about.

Outside those 14 days, or where the SDK does what it is documented to do and simply is not what you wanted, we do not refund as a matter of course. Write to us anyway; a policy is not a wall.

What a refund does

A refund is real and it is enforceable. It returns the money, ends your entitlement to download the package, stops any maintenance term attached to the order, records the change against the licence, and closes the order.

So a refunded licence is a contractual matter rather than a technical one. Once an order is refunded the licence to use and redistribute the engine ends, and continuing to ship it is a breach of the terms -- not something the software will prevent. We rely on that, and we would rather say so than pretend to a control we do not have.

Chargebacks

A chargeback suspends download entitlements immediately, flags the account, and goes to a person rather than to an automated process. If you are considering one, a message to us first will almost always be faster and will not put your account into that state.

How to ask

Open a ticket from the portal with the order number. You do not need to justify the request; telling us what went wrong helps us stop selling the wrong thing to the next person.
